I'm a 33 year old single chicka (and diva!!). I work from home for a pharmaceutical company. My favorite genre is mysterys and thrillers, chick lit, memoirs, YA and horror. I also have recently come to love contemporary fiction. My favorite authors from my adolescence were Anne Rice and Stephen King, although I have not read a book from them in a long while! I'm not a big fan of the romantic novel, nor do I care for self help books nor religious/spiritual themes. But I will read just about anything! I have discovered some great books here at www.paperbackswap.com, and look forward to learning about more.
LIKES:
- I am a huge knitter (check out my blog! - Knitting Blog), so I would love any knitting books on my WL, especially those listed in my top 10 below. I'm pretty picky when it comes to yarn, and I generally make large projects that require large quantities of yarn, so if you wanted to add to my ever growing yarn stash, here are a few sites where you can purchase gift certificates: The Loopy Ewe, Webs, Jimmy Beans Wool, Blue Moon Fiber Arts
- I love scrappbooking, so eyelets, brads, stickers, paper punches, fun paper, etc. I like flowers, drangonflies, anything retro, anything diva-esque, or anything fun and funky. I am not a fan of animals or anything cutsie wootsie.
- I also love to make jewelry - mostly silver earrings and necklaces. I'm always in need of lever back earring findings, as well as any kind of clasp. I also like swarovski crystals and precious gemstones like garnet, amythyst, periodot, rose quartz, and purple and green flourite.
- LOVE Candles, Oils and Incense - Patchoulli, Fig, Pomegranate, Lavender, Sandalwood and Black Current scents (no vanilla); I also use votives, usually unscented but like the scented ones too. I don't like any scent with food smells to them ar anything that's especially sweet, like cookie or baked scents and most fruits.
- Neutrogena Lip Moisturizer - I have one in every room of the house!
- Socks - I like funky/fun patterns (no animals please!), and I like them long! I also love sock yarn!
- Coffee - Breakfast Blend, French Roast, or flavored coffee!
- Insulated travel mugs and oversized coffee mugs
- Hot Chocolate - Sugar Free please
- Weight Watchers chocolate candy
- Books!! (I prefer paperbacks over hardbacks) - anything from my WL would be great, but I have listed my top 10 below
- Scented shower gel/bubble bath in Fig, Pomegranate, and Lavender scents (again, no vanilla or foodie scents please!). I love Bath and Body works stuff, especially Jaqua Body Butter and lotion, B&BW Sensual Amber Body Gel, Bubble Bath and Scrub, and Aromatherapy Sugar Scrub, Lotion, and Body Wash in Black Cherry Vanilla (from Bath and Body Works)
- Fun pens in colored and black/blue ink
- Fun paper/stationary/notepads/post-its
- Home Scents - Bath and Body Works Wallflowers in Japanese Cherry Blossum and Midnight Pomegranate; and Bath and Body Works Scentports in Fig.Quince, Sensual Amber, Aromatherapy Oils in Black Currant Vanilla and Lavender Vanilla, Henri Bendel oils in Fig, Quince, and Black Currant
- Gum! I love Orbit gum, and will try any flavor (except licorice LOL!). But my standbys are cinnamon and peppermint. I also like their raspberry mint and mint mojito!
GENERAL INFO:
- I am a makeup junkie! Seriously I'll spend tonz on makeup. Favs include MAC and Prescriptives (I know, I have expensive make-up taste). I also LOVE any kind of gloss. I am particular about chapstick though (see my likes).

- Religious/inspirational themes/christmas themes (snowflakes are ok)
- Anything Vanilla or foodie scented (couldn't you tell??!!)
- Romance novels

like love chocolate and candy but am trying to lose weight at the moment.
